This award recognises an exceptional young professional under the age of 30 who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and potential within the Middle East sports industry. Nominated by their organization, the individual will be evaluated on their ability to drive impactful projects, influence organizational success, and lead with integrity and a forward-thinking mindset. Judges will consider the nominee’s achievements over the past year, looking for evidence of how their contributions have elevated their company, supported their peers, or positively shaped the regional sports landscape.
Key considerations include the leader’s ability to adapt to industry shifts, foster collaboration, and deliver measurable results. Judges will also look for evidence of creativity, professional growth, and a commitment to ethical standards. Submissions should highlight specific achievements, such as successful project management or innovative problem-solving, supported by internal testimonials that validate the nominee’s role as a future shaper of the industry.
The nominee must be aged 29 or under as of December 31, 2025, and have operated in one or more of the following Middle Eastern countries: UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and/or Syria between 1st January 2025 – 31st December 2025.
Judges will assess nominees on demonstrated leadership and influence, including the ability to inspire others, foster collaboration, and lead with integrity, regardless of formal title. Consideration will be given to innovation and forward-thinking, evidenced through new ideas, digital solutions, or improved processes that have enhanced organisational performance.
Nominees will be evaluated on the successful delivery of impactful, high-stakes projects during 2025, as well as measurable contributions to organisational success such as revenue growth, operational efficiency, brand reputation, or major event delivery.
Judges will also consider professional growth and adaptability, including the ability to develop new skills, respond to industry change, and take on increased responsibility. Strong ethical standards, supported by peer and internal testimonials, will be essential, alongside demonstrated contribution to the wider Middle East sports ecosystem beyond immediate commercial or operational roles.
