Sport Team of the Year

This category celebrates sports teams that have excelled both on and off the field, demonstrating exceptional performance, unity, and impact. Judges will assess the team’s achievements in competition, including milestones, victories, or notable improvements during the eligibility period. Teams should showcase their dedication to excellence, resilience, and sportsmanship, setting a standard for others in their sport.

Beyond competitive success, judges will look for evidence of meaningful engagement with fans and communities. Submissions should highlight initiatives that demonstrate the team’s role as a force for positive change, such as community outreach, fan engagement programmes, or efforts to promote inclusivity and well-being. Successful entries will showcase a well-rounded approach to being a team that is admired both for its on-pitch exploits and its contributions to the broader sports ecosystem.

The team must operate in one or more of the following Middle Eastern countries: United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and or Syria between 1st January 2024 – 31st December 2024.

Entries are welcome from all teams – professional or amateur.
